486 pages of smart real estate knowledge by Matthew Gilligan.

Check out the ripple effect on page 106. I learned about this in the late 80’s.

This book is worth studying and using some of the suggestions to help residential investors. Very detailed and lots of case studies.

With Sir Bob Jones recent passing, probably now is a good times to talk about his early books. In this case ‘Jones on Property’ first published in 1977. This was a must have book for any inspiring Kiwi investors.

In 1987, I remember Sir Bob saying congratulations to me for getting ‘rookie of the month’ at a company in Wellington called Realty Brokers, which was a large commercial real estate agency in Wellington, and Auckland, New Zealand.

Still relevant today!

Do you want to be a Residential, Industrial, commercial or mixed use maverick investor?

This book will certainly help. I will leave you to decide if you want to know about Trump deals? However it is very well written by Steve Bergsman.

Hi @chris-newkids. Would you recommend this book for industrial property investors?

Hi @RealHelp. Yes. But some of the terminology will be dated. Chapter 12, Sell to your advantage has some industrial property applications you can try.

@chris-newkids. Read this book years ago, probably out of print. At the time it helped me buy better and ask better questions of selling agents. It also provided some creative ideas on how to get better finance options.

Hi @chris-newkids. In the photo above showing chapter 21 contents. Note rule 2. Safety of principle. If that relates to your deposit and gained equity then I would agree that this is paramount in investing.

I purchased this book back in 2013.

I needed it to help me navigate the Australian and state real estate markets. It has served me well and is a must read for Kiwi wishing to invest and Australian interstate property investors.

If you are starting a business or you own one then this is a very inspirational book to study. In business you are constantly facing uncertainty. Failure is just a measurement tool.

I copied the page with ANZ letter, just to show all business new kids that when borrowing from banks, they do and have the last say. This is not in any way criticising the bank. (It’s all in the fine print on any mortgage or lending documentation, which most including some lawyers never read)

The book is very easy to read and is at you local library. Full of story’s, images and pictures.

A must for any Wellingtonians.
