Question. Should I sell my property myself?
Answer. It depends on the following:
- Do you know how to sell or have negotiation skills ?
- Do you have the time?
- Do you have any marketing experience?
- Can you handle, criticism, rejection?
- Do you know what to-do to prepare your property for sale?
- Most importantly do you know what the market conditions are and the difference between a buyers or a sellers market?
If you answered yes to at least three questions then you may have a chance.
This is a question that gets asked a lot by our clients. Selling your family home is not for the faint of heart.
Most people want to save the commission fee. But that’s not what should be important to you. It’s the price you get that really matters and that is negotiation.
