I read about this in a local paper ‘letters to editor’ see photo. I also found a link that may be of interest to Hutt Valley residents as quite a lot of homes sit on the hills.

We as home and business owners need to really pay attention to any Council & Insurance notifications received in the mail.
Upon ordering and receiving a Lim report study it. (if you don’t understand any part of the lim, especially what the natural hazards section is about, then contact the council, or your lawyer for an opinion)
Note to any new kid in our community. A Lim means a Land information memorandum, which can be obtained from your local council where the subject property you have an interest in resides.
Our insurance premiums are just not going to go down are they? Thanks for this we will pass it on to our Hutt Valley friends.
