Our street is having a problem with noisy neighbours. They have very loud music and parties. My neighbour has called noise control at the council. But the parties still continue. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have experienced the noisy neighbour problem myself on multiple occasions. We have called noise control (NZ) with some good and bad outcomes.
But what I have done is try and find out if they rent or are owners (this is important) if they rent then I find who the landlord or property manager is and then hassle them.
You will need proof video, noise control report.
If it’s the owners then I will try and meet them (be careful) not everyone is friendly!

Hey ABarnes. This might help. Get all your neighbours to contact the council noise control when they start up again.
We did this and then posted the video with the noise on social media. Incidentally in our case it wasn’t the music but the outside comings and goings that created a racket.
It worked the noisy party was finally evicted.
