It’s a good reminder, thanks. I feel for the landlord in this situation. It has happened to us as well. Here is something we do, as soon as a problem occurs go directly and talk to the tenant and discuss the problems straight away, and don’t walk away with out a solution. I have found that many tenants when faced with problems will hide or try and ignore the problem.

Hi community, yes been there and done that. Good property managers help here. But private owners managing their own rental investments need to be really vigilant especially with rent payments.
