I had a property owner ask me this interesting question. What are the tricks to making the windows look great?
Hi Chris Wooden windows can present a few challenges. To make them look great a regular (once a month) wash and wipe down of the glass is a good place to start.
Hi and welcome to Property Success with NEW KIDS. We are very grateful to you posting and thereby helping our community grow.
Great comment, also have you had experience re-puttying the glass? Did you do it yourself or did you get a tradesman to-do it?
Yes I’ve had some experience doing this but only repairing smaller areas of the windows. You need to use the correct glazing putty, have clean and reasonably sharp putty knife and allow time for things to go wrong.
It’s doable but takes some patience
A professional painter friend of mine still paints his clients wooden windows in a oil based paint, says it’s always looks good.
