We are still seeing evidence of small industrial properties (lock ups) having meth contamination.
With New Zealand commercial and industrial developers building a staggering amount of units all over NZ and in Aus there is a lot of vacant units for meth users to target.
We would recommend a meth test for any new leases or purchases.

When I have being looking for another investment property and inspecting flats, apartments you do get a instant feel that something is not quite right about what you have seen. The property history to me is quite important.
